subsidized student loans

Where are some good sites for subsidized student loans?
I already got the Direct Loan (I think Stafford) and the Perkins Loan, but I’m still short $2000. Anyone know of a good student loan that doesn’t require a credit check ( I have no credit history), can be payed back 3-6 months after graduation, and preferebly is subsidized? I only need a max of $4000.
Thank you for your help.
Try http://financialaid.com . I think they can get you subsidized loans. Also, check with http://salliemae.com .
Good luck!

Student Loans: Risks and Realities
$107.55 This timely volume objectively addresses the major issues and questions raised about student aid programs. It examines the realities of student loans and provides a balanced analysis of the present and future prospects for financing higher education. Educators, guarantee agency administrators, and state and federal officials analyze student indebtedness and the repayment of loans. They evaluate how five other industrialized nations structure grants and education loan programs and address the challenging problem of extending opportunities for higher education to low-income students. The vital need for support in the application process and for debt management counseling in high schools and colleges is discussed, as is innovative private sector support. A necessary resource for everyone concerned with higher education issues. |

The Benefits of Subsidized Housing Programs
$34.48 Rental housing subsidy programmes have been an important part of the American welfare system since the 1930s. The Benefits of Subsidized Housing Programs: An Intertemporal Approach is an empirical study of the distributive effects of the entire system of rental housing subsidies for lower-income households based on a national sample. Using the 1977 Annual Housing Survey, Professor Hammond has evaluated the benefits of all federal, state and local government rental housing subsidy programmes taken as a whole across the nation. Additionally, she has estimated the changes in consumption patterns resulting from these programmes and the relationship between household benefit and household income; household size; age, education, sex, and race of the head of the household; and the geographic location of the household. |

While calling for dramatic changes to the industry, Collinge, the founder of studentloanjustice.org exposes the big business behind student loans and decries how the industry serves colleges and universities well but charges students unregulated fees and fines. Government Managing Risk: Income Contingent Loans for Social and Econo

This has ensured that the importance of student support is recognized in many countries. In recent years there has been a world-wide movement towards the use of income contingent loans (ICL) for higher education.
